Something to Think About

My grandfather fought a world war.
My grandfather was caught, hurt and kept in a work camp for over a year.
When my grandfather returned home from war his son was afraid of him because he didn’t know who he was.
My grandfather spent his entire life working in a farm and taking care of his land.
My grandfather lost two sons, one of them died in his arms and he was only 17 years old.
Since I was a little girl my grandfather has always told me his stories from the past. A past that wasn’t always easy, but that he and so many others have lived.
When my grandfather told me all those stories he always had a smile on his face. He was never sad and he never complained.

So, my dear friends, when you think that your life “sucks” and that “bad stuff” always happen to you just think about that and most of all stop stressing all those people that no matter what, face life with a smile.
Just like my grandfather did, for 87 years!
